Requests are evaluated on a rolling basis by the foundation board.
Submission of a grant application does not guarantee the grant will be granted.
The grant may be funded in an amount less than what is requested.
The post/organization/individual is required to complete an accounting of the funds at the completion of project/event and will need to provide copies of receipts showing expenditures as well as bank statements showing the funds were paid from the Post’s bank account. The post may be required to provide periodic reports if the project/event will last more than 30 days past the date of award.
The post/organization/individual may need to return some or all of the grant money if it is determined by the VFW MA Foundation that grant money was improperly spent or not spent within the allotted time.
